God's Gift at Its Finest
This poem is just a fun little cluster of verses that came to mind while on holiday with my family. As I was laying on the beach, I became increasingly aware of the beauty and solemnity of the scene. The little things that were so often drowned out by distractions or worries of a regular work day came into focus, and I began to appreciate how beautiful is the world that we live in.
We are told that all nature sings praises to its Creator. It's purpose is not only to show us beauty among chaos; the beauty of nature should also to turn our minds to the loving God of the universe. All the little pleasures of life, from the subtle scents we smell, to the childish giggles and harmonious songs we hear, and the beauty we behold at every turn should should fill our hearts with gratitude toward God for such wonderful gifts!
So the purpose of this poem is to do just that, sing a small song of thanks and praise for God's marvelous little gifts.
